It’s true to say that with the popularisation of personal computers probably none of us
writes as much by hand as we used to. (And even though we’re a writing instruments
company, PCs are commonplace in our own offices, too!)

Having said that, the act of writing is a very personal thing. We each have our own
handwriting style – just as we have our own fingerprints! And for many people the world
over, writing is still a pleasure.

That’s why we’ve adopted the new corporate message ‘Spirit of Wonder’ to reflect the delight and excitement that many people experience when they write with a Pentel product.
