Pentel is helping Campaign to help women like…
Kirste Snellgrove (pictured left) was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 35. Following her diagnosis she had a mastectomy, six months of chemotherapy and three weeks of daily radiotherapy. Since her diagnosis Kirste has run 18 marathons, several triathlons, completed a 200 mile charity bike ride and carried the Olympic torch in Beijing.
“Breast cancer really is a cruel disease. It creeps up on you and before you know it, it has turned your world upside down. It infiltrates the lives of everyone involved. I can remember seeing my brother crying with my mum when they thought I wasn’t looking. It was a heartbreaking moment.
Breast Cancer Campaign has helped me so much since I was diagnosed and has funded so much research into the disease, including a new bone drug that I am so fortunate to be taking. To everyone who has supported the charity – thank you. People like you help people like me.”
